Who I Work  With

About Me . . .

Whether as an individual or therapist, I am someone who likes to keep things real with people.  While this may seem that I am being direct, I am actually focusing in on the experience that the client is having at that moment.  This is my way of wanting to better understand what my client is going through and what is stopping that person from making progress toward the personal goals they have set for themselves.  At the same time, I realize how difficult the process of opening up and revealing things in therapy can be, and I want to make sure that I create an environment of safety and professionalism.  I accept people for who they are from the very beginning, and I want assist each person in enhancing themselves.

My Emphasis . . .

Experiences create symbols that define who we are as an individual, and sometimes these lead us to becoming someone other than our most authentic self.  We often have learned ways that assist us in getting by in life that would protect us from getting hurt, but at the same time we have learned how to suppress our true being.

As a professional who seeks to incorporate my true being in the therapy room, I want to assist people in owning their lives and being real with not just others, but especially themselves.

My Values . . .

Following Dr. Carl Whitaker’s commitment, I am determined to advocate and empower people to be authentic in their own process of experiences that influences their sense of being alongside their relationships with others.

All in all, I am here to work alongside my clients on cultivating their own growth to be more grounded, human, and loving.
