About Me . . .

I believe everyone should be able to express themselves free of judgment in a safe space. It is important to me that my clients feel validated and is able to share their story. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and together we can develop interventions to help in your therapeutic journey. Life is full of surprises and whereas some may be devastating no one should have to go through them alone.

My Emphasis . . .

I am trained in evidence-based practices for depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, and substance use disorders. Training includes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed services. I have worked with children, adolescents in group home and at risk as well as with individual, couples and families.

My Values . . .

I am first generation Mexican American and I am sensitive to the many struggles that women and minorities face. I believe in staying in your reality and allowing you to teach me how I can be helpful.
