Who I Work  With

My Professional Affiliations . . .

American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT)

California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT)

About Me . . .

I tend to be innovative, highly intuitive and directive in my therapeutic approach. I am passionate about empowering those I work with to identify their inner strengths, thus promoting personal growth.

Before becoming a therapist, I had seven years of success in the real estate industry, primarily in mortgage loans services. During that time, I became more and more intrigued by human interaction and personal empowerment, and realized that becoming a therapist was my personal calling. I am originally from the Philippines, but now make my home in the Inland Empire.

My Emphasis . . .

My primary emphasis is enhancing relationships between couples and families, working with adolescent parents, assisting couples through a divorce, child custody mediation and other relational issues.

I use an evidence-based process to examine the client’s underlying history and circumstances and offer techniques to manage their symptoms. As you learn and use new tools to improve communications, desires and closeness your relationships will improve and lasting change occurs. Putting changes into practice is what evidence-base interventions is all about!

My Unique Qualifications . . .

During my practicum, my training hours were completed at the following institutions; Loma Linda Behavioral Health Institute, San Bernardino County Housing Authority, Riverside County Community Action Partnership (CAPS) – as a Civil Mediator for the Riverside County Superior Court, the Riverside County Superior Court Family Law Division – as a Family Mediator Trainee and with several private practice Family Law Attorneys – providing family mediation.

I was honored with the Master’s Minority Scholarship Award from the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013. I was also awarded the 2014 Loma Linda University “Most Outstanding Marriage and Family Therapy Student”.

My Personal Message . . .

You may find yourself falling into the same troubling patterns, despite your sincere desire to change; something is getting in your way. Maybe it feels too scary to risk letting go of what feels safe, whether it’s an unhealthy relationship, a distressing job, or a destructive habit. Sometimes we’re willing to give up potential happiness for fear or losing what we already have. Therapy can be a first step in your commitment to create transformation and find happiness in your life. Together, we can illuminate your fears and help put you in control of them.

My role as a Therapist is to provide a space to fully explore your feelings the “Good” as well as the “Bad” in a non-judgmental way. Our complicated emotions can be hard to understand, especially when we fell lost and alone. But, when you start to understand who you are at your core, things begin to fall into place.

I enjoy being active by volunteering in the community as a mentor and assist in youth program development at the following organizations:

     Project Hope Foundation by (CAPS)

     Community-Academic Partners in Service
